ABILITIES at CapitalAbilities at Capital University exists to empower disabled members of the campus community through providing them with a group in which they can discuss their experiences as disabled people with other disabled people and allies of disabled communities. Abilities also strives to foster an accepting campus environment for disabled people and their experiences, knowledge, talents, and other unique qualities, while also raising awareness of, and taking action to diminish and resolve, how disabled people may struggle – both on campus, and in the broader world. Whether through day-to-day interactions, careful education, or organized systems change, Abilities dedicates itself to both an awareness that enriches disabled people and their communities, and an advocacy that brings to light problems, and solutions to problems, that impact disabled people.” (Founded originally at OSU).Boo Radley Society at Capital UniversityThe Boo Radley Society at Capital University is a student-run organization committed to doing random acts of kindness (RAOK).
